West Chester University, with it's tree shaded walks and mix of architectural styles, occupies 388 acres in and near the borough of West Chester.
Strategiaclly located at the center of the mid-Atlantic corridor between New York City and Washington, D.C., WCU boasts a unique atmosphere, combining elements of urban, suburban,and rural living. The campus sits just 25 miles west of Philadelphia, PA. and 17 miles north of Wilmington, Delaware.

Within a half hour of West Chester you can find: * Valley Forge National Park
* Brandywine Creek, Battlefield, and Museum
* Longwood Gardens and Wintherthur Museum
* The Court and Plaza at King of Prussia, the largest shopping complex on the East Coast
* QVC, the leader in electronic retail

Add another 15 minutes and you're in Philadelphia, New Jersey and Delaware where there's a multitude of things to do:
* professional sports teams - the Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, and 76ers
* historic sites, including the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall
* New Jersey State Aquarium in Camden
* Grand Opera House in Wilmington

It's about 90 minutes to Baltimore, two hours to New York and three to Washington, D.C., all a train ride away from Philadelphia.
