Application Instructions Thank you for your interest in attending Philadelphia Biblical University. We look forward to reviewing your application. Each aspect of your application is carefully considered, therefore we encourage you to complete each question thoughtfully and thoroughly. When you are finished, click the 'SUBMIT' button on the left column of any application screen. Please be sure to print, sign, and date your application agreement that appears after you submit the application. Admission Requirements Admission to the ADVANCE program is a simple process, which can lead to a quick decision. Admission requirements include: This online application and payment of the $30 application fee Commitment to Jesus Christ as personal Savior and a lifestyle reflecting that commitment Completion of a minimum of approximately 60 credits from an accredited college/postsecondary institution A grade point average of 2.0 (4.0 scale) or higher on all transferable credits Receipt of official transcripts from all colleges and universities previously attended ( Request for Official Transcript Form) Personal Reference Form Pastoral Reference Form Provisional Acceptance Applicants who do not meet the admission requirements will be considered by the ADVANCE admission committee and may be given provisional acceptance. At the time of acceptance, applicants will be informed of any deficiency in coursework or other requirements not met, and a program to fulfill these requirements will be mutually agreed upon. International Applicants Applicants for whom English is a second language and who demonstrate deficiencies in English must take the examination administered by the College Entrance Examination Board. This includes both those who enter the United States on an F-1 student Visa and those who have immigrated to the United States. Acceptance of applicants with TOEFL test scores under 550 on the paper-based test or 213 on the computer-based test may be conditional upon participation in an ESL program. Admission Forms Listed below are the forms necessary to apply to the ADVANCE program. By clicking on them, you will be able to view and print these forms in order to be able to complete them and proceed with the application process. Using the PBU Advance Program Online Application To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable). After you complete a screen, click the NEXT button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal. Once you have completed the application, click the 'SUBMIT' button located on the left column to submit the application.
