Notice -Non-matriculating Students
Students from other institutions of higher education who wish to complete coursework as a visiting student at Lackawanna College with the intention of transferring the completed course(s) to their home institution also need to provide an application, application fee and approval from their home institution in order to enroll in college courses. All non-matriculating applicants without proper verification from their home institution must follow the standard application procedures for matriculating students

The Admission Process
- Submit a $30 (nonrefundable) application fee (check or money order) payable to Lackawanna College.
- Final official transcript procedure:
- High school transcript must be forwarded directly to the admissions office: If you are currently a high school senior, it is your responsibility to ensure your final transcript is on file no later than thirty (30) days following graduation.
- GED (send a copy of the official diploma and/or scores).
- College transcript(s) should be forwarded to the office of the registrar.
- Official report of SAT /ACT scores. Scores reported on official high school transcript will be accepted.
If neither test has been taken, or if scores are more than three (3) years old, a Lackawanna College assessment test must be taken prior to scheduling of classes.
- International students must submit an official report of TOEFL scores (Test of English as a Foreign Language) with a minimum score of 450 (written), 133 (computer), or 155 IBT (Internet-based test).
Note: Filed credentials become the property of Lackawanna College and cannot be returned to the applicant. Admission standards and policies are free from discrimination on the grounds of race, creed, color, religion, national origin, age, or sex.
